Need to hear cheap ideas, games, favors, food ideas, decorations for her luau hawaiiain theme party, she is super excited and need to do it the utmost cheapest, so we can still afford her gifts. We live on a beautiful 88 acre ranch, have plenty of room outdoors, and a large BBQ pit, so we have a place. but tight on a budget.Thanks.
i think this is a pretty good site and should help you out.

Go with oriental trading for decorations, projects, handouts, and soooo much more. Go with walmart for cake, ice cream, burgers, chicken, fries, ect. My daughter had a luau for her 7th birthday too. Also you can roast mashmellows and hotdogs. Have her have a friend or a couple friends sleepover. You can play freeze dance, games, and crafts.

Love all of the other answers! For me the best price for something is free!
.. Check and see if there is a Freecycle group in your area and put the word out about wanting party supplies/ideas.

The dollar stores usually have tons of laua stuff in the summer. I would start there. Oriental Trader has tons of stuff for cheap too. I don’t remember the url for it, but you can look it up.

Wow, can I come? J/k.
Encourage everyone to wear floral outfits.
A stick = limbo game. Pretty cheap. My daughter loves it when we do face painting at her parties (buy at hobby store). Pinata. Do you have a pool? They could go swimming. Really for that age group you don’t need to provide games–if they’re anything like my daughter’s classmates they get so excited to see each other that they’re perfectly capable of intertaining themselves.
Food: grilled pineapple, chicken or beef kabobs, roasted pork or grilled chicken legs, grilled corn on the cob, popsicles, lemonade, punch…
Favors: sunglasses, flowers for the girls to clip into their hair, stickers, bubbles

As guests enter, give them a name tag and have them write their Hawaiian name on it. Find out the names yourself ahead of time using this website:

Also, give them a Hawaiian lei (the necklace thing).
Games:
-Limbo contest.
-Hula Hoop Head Off. (A team game so divide the kids into 2-3 groups and make them stand sideways, holding their team members hands. The first person picks up the hula hoop and crawls through it without letting go of their neighbors hand (they can not let go of hands) and passes the hula hoop off to their neighbor until the hula hoop reaches the last person in line and they crawl through it and place it back on the floor. First team to finish wins. )
Water Balloon Toss.
-Beach Ball Relay. (Divide kids into two lines. Place two beach chairs about 20 feet in front of each line. Person first in line must pass a blown up beach ball under his legs. After the person behind him grabs it, person #1 runs up and around the chair and back to the end of the line. Person #2 then passes the beach ball and runs. Team who finishes first wins.)
Snacks and drinks (snacks in clean sandbuckets looks great):
Goldfish. (Rainbow colored looks festive)
Tropical Skittles.
Fruit kabobs.
Meat kabobs.
Hawaiian Punch and/or soda.
Coconut.
I’m sure you can find a palm tree, hula dancer or fish pinata. Get one so the candy and treats inside double as party favors.
Balloons are always good decorations. Blue, green and purple work best for a Hawaiian theme. If you have extras, put them in the kids’ party favor bags.
OrientalTrading.com has some Luau decorations and party favors for relatively cheap (including a set of 25 beachballs for $9.99).
Happy planning and partying! =)
