Its time for poi! Yes, this paste-like food is undeniably beloved in Hawaii, both for its taste and cultural significance. But have you ever heard of a non-Hawaiian appreciating it? Its not that they dont try. Many a visitor to Hawaii has sampled poi at a luau only to compare its taste to any number of less-than-delicious items - many of them not even food.
Even though Remy lives nowhere near Hawaii, he got his hands on some poi and gave it a try. Note that poi is seldom eaten alone, but instead is simply one component of a meal. Even so, Remy tries to sample foods by themselves, in order to get a true taste of the food.

I went to Jamaica in April and I was CRAVING some beef patties! I decided to try this restaurant and after the first bite, I thought I was back in Jamaica! The food was wonderful! The portions are very generous. I brought my two children, who are finicky eaters. They also enjoyed it! The jerk chicken and coco bread were great too. We will definitely be repeat customers. The only problem, the food made me long for Jamaica even more! Christian
