What are some good ideas for a luau party for girls ages 10-15?
I am already having a barbecue with tiki torches, water balloon fight with water guns and volleyball, and tropical drinks. What else should I use or what are some good hawaiian recipes that are easy to make? Please Help!!!!!!!
Go to a party store or dollar store and pick up a grass skirt and coconut bra and lots of plastic flower leis.
See if you can find a cheap small guitar/ukelele and a bongo drums.
Go to a used record store for some hawaiian music tapes and get one of those microphone kareoke machines so they can either sing or lip sink while they hula dance.
Get a broom stick or long pole to do limbo dancing
Buy a slip and slide
Get a long blank sheet of paper and get paint for everyone to draw and sign a mural.
You can make or buy Hawaiian pizzas
Cut up watermelon, pineapple, oranges, canteloupe, grapes, strawberries and make a large bowl of fruit salad.
Barbecue fish on the grill with butter and lemon and make a salsa with mango, orange segments, pineapple tidbits, honey, lime juice, chopped fresh mint or celantro, and a few drops of sesame seed oil and tabasco sauce, soy sauce, and diced red bell pepper and red onion and salt and pepper to taste.

If you have a party city store near you , go to it. They have everthing you need for luau parties. Lei’s, grass skirts, etc….. The kids can make their own grass skirts with news papers too. It sounds like you have a good imagination let it loose even more… Cut and core a pineapple then buy pineapple juice and pore in it.. Good luck and have fun. Wish I was there !!!!
